Started at Volvo Cars 1995 working with passive safety including diagnostic, responsible for verification of complete electrical architecture at Volvo Bus 1998-2000, changed in 2000 to work with OBD at Volvo Cars. Responsible for diagnostic communication for Volvo Cars powertrain 2000-2007.

Diagnostic Engineer, later systems engineer at Volvo Powertrain (trucks) 2007-2014. Systems engineer, concept owner for diagnostics at Volvo GTT (Trucks) electrical department 2014-.

Technical specialist for diagnostics 2016-. OBD is a part of the diagnostic system. I write strategies how my company should work with diagnostics, including predictive maintenance, for the future.

Active within ISO TF5, later TF-DR, later WG2 since 2001, active within SAE Vehicle E/E Systems diagnostics since 2011.

I’ve designed (requirements) a couple diagnostic event managers (DEMs), being a part to introduce ISO 14229-1 both at Volvo Cars and Volvo Trucks.
